Joe Campa is the Chief Executive Officer of Kent, Campa and Kate Inc. (KCK). Prior to launching KCK with the former 16th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Carlton Kent, Mr. Campa served as Vice President, Center for Leadership Excellence, for CACI International Inc., a $6 billion professional services and information technology company.
Before CACI, Mr. Campa served as the 11th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) and the first Hispanic MCPON in history. In this role, he held responsibilities that included the leadership, development, and utilization of a 330,000-strong enlisted military force. He served as the principal advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations and Secretary of the Navy on all matters involving Navy enlisted policy. He also testified before Congress on quality-of-life issues affecting Sailors and their families.
Mr. Campa was one of the first enlisted Sailors in the history of the Navy to graduate from the Naval War College where he earned a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies. He is also a proud graduate of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy and the Army Sergeant Majors Academy. He was voted as one of the “Top One Hundred Hispanics in America” by Hispanic Business Magazine.
Mr. Campa was recently appointed by the Governor of Virginia as a member of the Commonwealth’s Board of Veteran Services where he works to advise on policy and programs that impact the quality of life for Veterans and their families.
